BLAXPO is Canada's Black-led premier platform for Black economic mobility, connecting professionals and founders to the jobs, capital, and opportunities that drive real outcomes.

In 2026, we're taking our mission further. BLAXPO is partnering with FACE Coalition to bring Melamoon to our platform, uniting Canada's premier conference for Black economic participation with the country's leading Black founder launchpad where the commitment to Black founders is clear: no equity, no catch. Just fuel.

Together, we're creating a complete ecosystem: BLAXPO builds the infrastructure for access for professionals, while Melamoon accelerates founders with investment and visibility. Economic participation becomes economic power.

2022-2025 highlights

BLAXPO made its dynamic debut in Montreal, expanding our commitment to equity, opportunity, and belonging for Black talent in a city shaped by entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. This pop-up event marked a milestone: an intimate yet impactful gathering designed to build authentic connections, inspire personal and professional development, and create opportunities for Black professionals to thrive, especially entrepreneurs seeking to expand their networks and opportunities.

BLAXPO 2024 was our biggest and grandest edition yet. Pulling from Nelson Mandela’s iconic “Let Freedom Reign” speech, we embraced the theme of ‘Equity in Bloom’. BLAXPO 2024 provided a holistic space for personal and professional development, offering impactful programming, intentional connections, and a vibrant community focused on learning, growth, and collaboration. Together, we celebrated the power of equity to inspire progress and create abundant opportunities.

BLAXPO 2023 transcended into a hybrid multi-touchpoint conference centering the voices of Black Canadian professionals and students. This trailblazing conference gathered more than 1100 attendees across Canada and over 30 companies from various industries to create significant connections all while providing an authentic learning experience.

BLAXPO 2022 set the tone for the new age career fair by introducing relational recruitment. By creating a safe space where Black students, professionals, entrepreneurs and wanderers could connect, companies were able to truly showcase their company culture and values by engaging with Black talent in a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.
