    The venue is a short walk from Union Station, making it easily accessible by TTC, GO Transit, and UP Express. From Union Station, exit toward Front Street and walk west along Bremner Blvd toward the CN Tower. Follow signage for Steam Whistle Brewing and the Pilsner Hall entrance.

    From Union Station (via the SkyWalk)

    Exit Union Station and follow signs for the SkyWalk toward the CN Tower. At the end of the SkyWalk, exit onto Bremner Blvd and walk west to Steam Whistle Brewing at the John Street Roundhouse. Follow venue signage to the Pilsner Hall entrance.

    Driving & Parking
    Paid parking is available at nearby lots, including parking options around the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and surrounding area.

    Availability may vary depending on events happening downtown, so we recommend arriving early or using public transit where possible.

    For drop-off, use 255 Bremner Blvd as the destination.

    Ride-share drop-off & pickup is on Bremner Blvd. is between the base of The CN Tower and The Rec Room.

  • Yes, you won’t have to worry about your jacket weighing you down or cramping your style.

    Please note that coat check has a maximum capacity of 250 coats and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • 100%! Think of the app like your personal BLAXPO companion. You can reserve your seat to sessions, exchange information with people you meet, check out exhibitors, and do many more cool things like a scavenger hunt, take photos and write on our social wall. Make sure you download the app before the event to see all that BLAXPO has to offer!

  • Yes, you must be of Ontario legal drinking age.

  • Only Legacy and Corporate ticket holders have food included in their ticket.

  • Yes. Just make sure you build your own schedule in the app so you don’t miss a session.

  • Yes, you’ll have access to the venue’s free public WIFI.

  • Yes, the whole schedule will be blocked off between 1pm - 2pm for lunch. You’ll be able to purchase your lunch from a Black-owned caterer.

blaxpo App

  • Download the BLAXPO app from the App Store or Google Play. To unlock the content, you'll need to be registered for the event. Once your registration is confirmed, log in with the same email you used to register.

  • You can download the app anytime, but the content only becomes available once you're registered for BLAXPO and have received your confirmation email.

  • Use the same email address you used to register for the event.

  • Make sure you've received your registration confirmation email; that's what unlocks your access. If you're registered but still can't get in, check that you're logging in with the same email you registered with. Still stuck?

  • No, all BLAXPO content is only available through the BLAXPO app, which you can download from the App Store or Google Play.

  • Yes, every session in the panel room can be streamed live through the app. Just find the session in the agenda, tap it, and start watching once it begins.

  • Yes, for panels, workshops, and other sessions, you'll need to save your seat in the app ahead of time to guarantee your spot. We recommend booking the sessions you don't want to miss early, as space is limited.

  • Head to the session in the app and click on Save My Seat. You can manage and review your saved sessions right in the app.

  • Saving your seat is for attending in person. To watch a panel-room session online, simply open it in the agenda and start streaming when the session goes live.

  • Livestreams begin when the session starts. Open the session in the agenda and you'll be able to start watching once it's live.

  • The live feed is your real-time pulse on everything happening at BLAXPO: updates, highlights, and moments from across the event as they unfold.

  • You can connect and chat with other attendees directly in the app. It’s a great way to network, follow up after a session, or make plans to meet up. Just click on CHAT, select a chatroom and start connecting. For one-on-one convos, find someone to connect with and click on the Chat icon to start messaging them.

  • The photobooth lets you capture BLAXPO moments and share them with the BLAXPO community. Not to be confused with our live headshot station where you can take a headshot photo by one of the best photographers Toronto has to offer. Make sure to save your spot to get your headshot.

  • You can browse the merch store in the app to see what's for sale, but purchases are made in person at the event. Think of it as your preview of what to grab on-site.

  • Use the venue map in the app to navigate the space and find sessions, booths, the photobooth, and more.

  • Yes, the app is bilingual. Just click on the language icon on the top right to change the app language.

  • The full agenda lives in the app under the Schedule/Agenda tab. You can browse sessions by day (October 16–17) and add the ones you want to your personal calendar.

  • We'll send real-time notifications through the app for schedule changes, session reminders, and can't-miss moments. Make sure notifications are enabled so you don't miss anything.

  • The app's matching platform connects you with other attendees, partners, and exhibitors based on your goals and interests. Complete your profile to get the most relevant matches and to make it easy for others to connect with you.

  • Visit the exhibitor/partner section to browse booths, learn about each company, and connect with their teams.
