About the Role: As a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) – Ontario, you will play a key role in helping Black entrepreneurs access the financing and support they need to grow their businesses. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of lending clients, identifying new business opportunities, delivering strategic financial advice, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout the lending journey. You will combine business development, relationship management, and credit analysis to deliver customized lending solutions while balancing client needs, risk management, and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities: As a Business Relationship Manager, you will:
Build, grow, and manage a portfolio of loan clients while developing long-term, trusted relationships.
Identify and pursue new business development opportunities to expand FACE's lending portfolio.
Deliver exceptional client service by providing proactive, customized financial and business advice tailored to each client's needs.
Analyze financial information, assess credit risk, and provide sound recommendations that align with FACE's Credit Policy and the Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund (BELF) guidelines.
Structure, prepare, and present funding recommendations for credit approval.
Monitor portfolio performance while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure a seamless lending experience for applicants and clients.
Work closely with Lending Support Analysts and financial institution processing partners to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and processed efficiently.
Maintain accurate client records and support ongoing portfolio reporting and compliance activities.
Qualifications
University degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in commercial lending, banking, financial services, or a related industry.
Strong financial analysis and credit adjudication skills.
Demonstrated business development and relationship management experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of commercial lending products, credit policies, and risk assessment principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and virtual collaboration tools.
Excellent organizational, time management, and reporting skills.
Preferred
Bilingualism in English and French.
Experience working with entrepreneurs, small businesses, or community lending programs.
Knowledge of the Ontario business and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The Quality Assurance Specialist understanding covers in-process and finished human drugs and dietary supplements, as well as their component raw materials (including active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients) and packaging and labelling operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited post-secondary institution. Prior experience in the field can be valued jointly with other type of post-secondary education.
Minimum three (3) years of practical experience.
Good knowledge of pharmaceutical, food and natural health product regulations in Canada and Internationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the event team to shape marketing strategy, including event positioning, target audience, ticket pricing and revenue goals.
Lead the development and execution of promotional strategies that drive audience acquisition, registration, ticket sales and attendance.
Execute and optimize multi-channel event marketing plans, adjusting tactics and communications based on registration trends and campaign performance.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary degree in marketing, communications or event management.
5–7 years of experience in event marketing, audience development and campaign management.
Proven experience identifying and acquiring hard-to-reach audiences, including senior business decision makers.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong attention to detail.
A passion for quality journalism and The Globe and Mail brand.

SALARY
The base salary for this role ranges from $84,000 to $105,000 per year. Placement within this range depends on a candidate’s level of experience, technical skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Candidates who have been identified as meeting the role’s requirements can expect to be near the midpoint of this range, while the upper end is reserved for those with specialized expertise or a strong track record of success in comparable roles.

QUALIFICATIONS:
8+ years of experience designing digital products.
Passion for user experience and design thinking, a strong desire to be innovative within the news, content publishing and media industry.
Demonstrable conceptual thinking and clarity in oral communication and documentation.
Orientation to detail and ability to work quickly at all stages of the design cycle to create prototypes and wireframes to visualize your ideas, design specifications, finished front-end designs and design QA.
Confidence through experience crafting research studies, interviewing customers and reporting results to directors and executives.
Experience using and contributing to design systems
Extensive experience using design tools such as AI prototyping combined with Figma and other tools for communication such as Miro, Microsoft Office and Google docs.
Experience working with data and metrics; proven ability to translate both qualitative and quantitative improvements to the user experience.
Experience using AI to optimize your workflow and process.
Experience leading workshops with team members and stakeholders.
Experience designing experiences that use AI and machine learning.
Basic front-end coding comprehension such as CSS, HTML, how digital tech works on a high level to facilitate communication with your engineering partners.

SALARY:
The base salary for this role ranges from $107,600 to $129,120 per year. Placement within this range depends on a candidate’s level of experience, technical skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Candidates who have been identified as meeting the role’s requirements can expect to be near the midpoint of this range, while the upper end is reserved for those with specialized expertise or a strong track record of success in comparable roles. This role may be eligible for The Globe’s Annual Incentive Plan, which is based on a combination of corporate and revenue objectives and rewards individual performance.
